4 practical recipes to make your life easier

You love making a more homemade meal for lunch or a tasty delicacy to receive visitors at home, don't you? But with the rush of everyday life, it is difficult to find time to prepare all this. 1- Poached egg

Poché is an original French cooking method. Many well-known restaurants practice this technique in their dishes, especially for starters. But, despite the chic name, a poached egg can be made very simply. 

To do this, separate a bowl and cover the entire surface with plastic wrap, adding a drop of oil or olive oil. Then, break the egg, join the ends of the film (as if it were a bundle) and tie a knot. Finally, put everything in the hot water for about three and a half minutes. 

Chef Rita Lobo has even made a statement regarding this technique with plastic film in his Practical Kitchen program: “It took me 10 years to learn how to make a perfect poached egg and, the day after my conquest, I was taught a technique that allows everyone to make an impeccable poached egg”.

2- Microwave rice

One of the most wild foods in Brazilian cuisine is rice. In addition to the combination with beans, so common in everyday life, it goes well with meats of all kinds, mixed with vegetables and even as a dessert: the delicious rice pudding! And the best thing is that it can be done in the healthiest way of preparing food, cooking, and in a very quick and practical way: in the microwave.

Place a cup of rice and two cups of water in a glass (or glazed ceramic) container. Add salt and spices to taste and mix well. Then, cover the container with plastic wrap, as if it were a lid. To let the steam escape and avoid the risk of burns when removing the plastic after heating, make a few holes in the film or leave one corner raised.

Finally, take the recipe to the microwave and check the progress every 5 minutes. When the water has dried, it's time to remove the container, and the rice will be ready to serve. The average preparation time is 5 minutes, varying according to the microwave power. 

And a very important tip: you always need to use a quality plastic film, especially in this recipe, so that the PVC film is well stretched and does not come into direct contact with the rice, avoiding any problem in the preparation of your food. 

3- Homemade Nuggets

It practical recipe it is ideal for a happy hour with friends or for those who have children and do not want to serve fast food to the little ones. In addition to being very tasty, homemade nuggets are a healthier option and can be prepared quickly! Thus, you please everyone without worries.

In a processor (or a good blender) place small pieces of chicken fillet (400g), onion, two eggs, curd, parsley, salt, pepper, garlic and powdered vegetable flavor broth. After processed, add sour cream and a few more small pieces of chicken fillet and mix all the dough until it is very homogeneous. 

Divide the dough into three and wrap the mixture in plastic film (about five turns), forming 6 cm diameter tubes. Then, place the tubes in boiling water for 15 minutes, until cooking. Remove the plastic film, cut and shape the dough into slices in the desired format. Finally, just bread and fry the nuggets in hot oil until they are golden brown.

4- Quiche

Another recipe from traditional French cuisine that looks like chef's food, but has nothing difficult. And we will tell you a secret: it was created in Germany!

The word "quiche" (kuchen, in German) means "pie" and the original recipe, known as quiche Lorraine, is made made of eggs, milk cream and pieces of bacon smoked. Then, the pie won the world and a wide variety of fillings, as leek, champignon, spinach e Salmon.

To make the dough, you need 1 egg, 250g of wheat flour and 125g of cold butter. Add all the ingredients and add salt to taste, using a few drops of water to aid in the process. As soon as it is homogeneous, shape the dough into a ball shape and wrap it in plastic wrap. Then, place in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Then, roll out the dough with the help of a rolling pin and place in a buttered and floured pan. Finally, add the filling of your choice and bake for about 30 minutes. Easy, isn't it?
